Ingredients:
- 3 medium sized sweet onions
- 1 leek
- Spicy Chorizo
- Gruyere
- 1 beaten egg
- Fresh Thyme
- Green Onion
- Hot Honey
- Balsamic Glaze
- Olive Oil
Instructions:
- Thinly slice 2 and 1/2 sweet onions and 1 leek.
- Sauté the chopped onions and leek over medium heat with olive oil until deeply caramelized.
- Thinly slice 3/4 cup of gruyere cheese and place it on thawed puff pastry.
- Drizzle hot honey over the Gruyere cheese
- Spread the caramelized onions and leeks on the cheese.
- Sprinkle 1/2 TBSP thyme, 1/2 TBSP chopped chives, and 1 TSP of SLC Salt Pepper Garlic seasoning over the top.
- Add 1/4 cup of diced spicy chorizo on top.
- Brush egg wash on the edge of the puff pastry.
- Season the edges with SLC Salt Pepper Garlic.
- Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Optional: Drizzle the baked dish with balsamic glaze and parmesan before serving.
